While heading out to enjoy some great Texas wine, we must remember food for the day. Bluebonnet Wine Tours has a few choices and ideas for food for you and your group. There are some wineries that occasionally will have a food truck that will serve different items for those whom didn't bring anything to eat. We suggest to always have something to snack or eat throughout the day while visiting The Texas Wineries and Vineyards. Some areas have barbecue restaurants such as the Salt Lick in Driftwood or Opies barbecue and Angels Grill in Spicewood or you could try some Italian food at the Duchman Vineyard. Occasionally the choice of eateries is far and few between, so we also recommend ordering some food from one of the local delis in the area where we will pick you and your group up. Jason's Deli is a good choice and they make lots of different sandwiches and fruit and cheese trays. HEB can also create something for you and or you could make some sandwiches and snacks at home to bring along so that you can enjoy a picnic at one of the wineries. Many of the wineries have picnic tables outside for your convenience. If you haven't had a picnic outside with a nice glass of wine with your friends, then Now's the Time.
